Mom says I have to read two books before the beginning of school, so I have started one about baseball. Did you have a good trip to Phoenix?
I have had a good summer. I took a trip with my grandparents and done lots of other stuff.

It’s so good to hear from you! I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, but I just got back from Phoenix. In answer to your question, I had a great trip in Phoenix. I went up to the Grand Canyon and really got to see erosion and weathering at work!
I can’t wait to hear all about the two books you read! I read my first Diary of a Wimpy Kid book–I can see why you all liked those books!

Hey there! The surgery I had wasn’t all that bad; just minor stuff. I’ll be back to school on Tuesday. Thank you for your concern though. As far as everything else is concerned, I thinK I have to agree with you! Miss Johnson is such a great teacher. Unfortunately, eventually she will be going on start her own classroom later. My first day of school was great! I got settled in my school supplies first. We got to go around the classrooms and I still switch classes at Larson (my new school). It was fun! The school is in Grand Praire, so its awesome to go to school in another town. See you later Miss Tellez!
